Mothers and others

I had my first Mother’s Day as a mother with the most beautiful (partly petalles) flower grasping it strongly with whitening little fingers. We also expressed our thanks to our dearest mothers with some grateful words and "Rita-made" fruit cakes. There is a place what we visit every year with Krisz to get the traditional flower of Mother’s Day: syringa. The first Sunday of May can not be Mother’s Day without it.
We had a 4-day holiday including May-Day as well. We were in the country. It was very much to a pig’s diasadvantage. Although the open-air bath was open (the most of them open on 1st May), the weather was rather favourable to use the indoor pool.

Boldog Anyak Nap Rita! It sounds as though it was a pleasant day and Dominik treated you with a lovely bouquet.

We do not celebrate May day and our Mother's day is celebrated on the second Sunday of May. We do have a long weekend coming up as May 19th is Victoria Day - however it is nothing like the May Day celebrations you participate in.
